Good Night!
This is a very important checklist for me. It ensures that I spend at least some time cleaning (a recent addition to the list) and that I do all the things I have to do at night. It hangs from my bedroom's door frame, so that I have to duck under it to enter the bedroom. Since it requires action on my part (ducking), it helps break the "inertia" I might otherwise have.
The cleaning and laundry items on this checklist ensure that I do these things. This was the convenient place to put them, since I can almost always spare a few minutes before bedtime.
The "put socks in washer" item is there because sometimes I sleep fully clothed, except for my socks, which will "crawl down my feet" while I'm sleeping. The "crawling" annoys and wakes me, so I can save some stress by taking them off before bed.
Do 5-10 minutes of cleaning (start in bathroom)
Lock doors
Take medication
Fill pill-case
If you will need a refill, schedule on Palm
Hang clothes if dryer is full
Check Palm for tomorrow's schedule
Using the schedule, set alarm (need 2.5 hours on workdays)
Do you need to use the bathroom?
Put glasses on the bathroom counter
Go to bed! Zzzzz....
